Isaiah in reverse....

Isaiah's first driving lesson...He's quite the driver :)

The three kiddos :) Isaiah (left), Scarlet McGoldrick (middle), and Michael Joseph Pressnell (right). We enjoyed getting to meet Scarlet (our niece on the Whatley side) after Christmas. She and Isaiah tried to play together :)

Nona got Isaiah a Christmas train set. We put it up and Isaiah liked it...but I think his daddy liked it even more :)

Isaiah started eating this week!! He really likes it! More pics to come...

Baby's first Christmas!

Lily and Paul Shanks' wedding right after Christmas :)

One of my favorite pics!!!!! Aren't my boys handsome!?

Playing around in Iain's jumping toy. :)

This fall with the pumkins :)

Isaiah is not crawling yet but he can scoot...backwards and sideways. Today he discovered that he can get places very quickly by rolling so he uses that as his transportation right now. He doesn't eat much but he enjoys it when he does. He is teething like crazy but has no tooth to show for it!

Bath time is a favorite! He loves water...that's my Florida boy!! :)
He's not as good as his cousin Iain was, but pulls a close second in spitting up :)

"He's an excellently energetic jumper!" -Curtis

He says: Hey, Hi, Dada, Rawr...and other things I cannot spell...
His first word was uh-oh but none of these words are associated with anything or have any meaning to him yet...

That's all for now...more later ...

Isaiah will be 6 months old in one week.

Discoveries of a three month old....

So this month has been a month of discovery for Isaiah! He has discovered his tongue a couple days ago. He is always sticking it out and he can twist it upside down too! He has also started blowing bubbles as he talks. He loves to jump in the little jumpy seat. This month he has grown a lot in length and can reach without us putting a pillow or something under the seat for him to jump on.

He loves to grab anything he can. He often goes for Curtis' throat :)

He has started mimicking tones. It has been a lot of fun.

He is also very ticklish...it is so cute!

Pictures to come.

Isaiah's life :)

Isaiah is so incredibly precious. He's pretty funny too. With all the time that he spends sleeping he sure does keep us entertained!

When he gets hungry he often makes really cute faces and opens and closes his mouth. Sometimes I will put his face up against mine and tell him to give me a kiss. Its really cute...and while I know he isn't giving me a kiss intentionally it is still really sweet.

But...a few days ago this little fellow was acting hungry, so I said "Isaiah give me a kiss". He picked his head up and put his mouth on my cheek. Just when I thought this moment was the sweetest ever, he let out the largest burp EVER! It was so funny.

If Isaiah is crying and Curtis whistles or makes bird noises or something he totally calms down and stares at Curtis. It is really sweet.

Here is Isaiah sleeping in his basket. He does some funny things with his arms and hands when he is sleeping.

This is him after his bath...

Isaiah Curtis Whatley has arrived!!!

Isaiah Whatley was born on August 2nd. He weighed 8 pounds and 4 oz. He is so precious!

Catching up...

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. Here's a little bit about what has gone on since last time I posted... :)

We opened up a mini-golf business. The theme is roadtrip across America. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work, building and decorating it. It's a full 18 hole course, with each hole being a different location/attraction in America.

This is Carlsbad Caverns. Curtis designed and built this one...the pictures don't do it justice...so you'll have to come by and see it :) Inside there are stalactites and stalagmites. There are also bats hanging from the ceiling and red, yellow, and green lights in various places. There's also a tunnel that kids can climb through to exit the cave. It turned out really neat.

Aunt Samantha painted Mt. Rushmore for us. We added a fifth place for people to put their head so that they could be the 5th President at Mt. Rushmore. Everyone loves it and takes pictures there a lot. Curtis and I had fun with this one...but the picture looks a little weird because the face hole is low so we were bending over :)

Here's Seattle....

One of our fav. pics is Curtis standing in the Rocky Mtns. and me in New York City.

So....since then...

Curtis has been working very hard on various projects including, window installation, roofing, porch building, planning future projects, restoring an antique table, etc.

We celebrated our anniversary in early June (because we were working over-time on the mini-golf place in April during our anniversary) at Daytona Beach. We had a lot of fun making a list of all that has happened in the last year.

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our son. He is growing and extremely active all the time. :) He is very entertaining because sometimes he won't kick or move at all if I'm trying to show someone how active he is, but every single time Curtis is around he goes crazy. :) It is very cute.

These are some shower pictures. :) It was so much fun! The picture on the left is of my friend Kristen who just had her baby 6 weeks ago today. Our sons are going to get to grow up together. :)

And here are some pictures of the nursery...and the baby spot in our room too. My family got to come up and help put things together. :)

That's all for now. The lil' guy is due at the end of July but we're going down early just in case. We'll be headed down there sometime next week. :)

It's a Boy!!!

While in Orlando, we found out that we're having a little boy! Mom took this picture just after we had found out. :) We are so excited! We're still not sure on the name but we're working on it! Thanks so much for all of your suggestions!

This is the Birth Center where I'm going to deliver. Its in Sanford :) It is so pretty! It will be just perfect!

This is us right before we left for Scotland...Mom bought me this tank top and it got us extra space on the flight going over! It was so nice. Everyone found it so funny too :)
